Melissa grew up in Moses Lake and graduated from Eastern Washington University with a Master鈥檚 degree in Social Work with an emphasis in School Social Work. She has worked in higher education for 17 years. She managed a retention program serving first-generation students from migrant backgrounds at Eastern Washington University for 7 years then moved to mini传媒 and has been working at mini传媒 providing advising and program management for the Bachelor鈥檚 degree program in Applied Behavioral Science for the last 10 years. She enjoys traveling, crafting, and everything sports, especially football and baseball鈥ou can often find her catching a game in person or hosting sports watch parties with friends. She is excited to join the Advising team to serve students more efficiently as they transfer into the Applied Behavioral Science program.
